This page started out as a bunch of links that might be of interest to you. Over the years though, most of those listed have disappeared, and in several cases if reflects the difficulties faced by small firms who offer an alternative to the traditional (overpriced) suppliers - especially in the real estate industry. Those who criticise the conduct of banks also seem to be "short-lived".

It reflects the way many suppliers big and small are failing to do the right thing by consumers, and it identifies a problem that is painfully obvious to disadvantaged consumers - "self-regulation" and "codes of conduct" are a nonsense. Property Owners Association (Vic/Tas)

A group that reflects the concerns and problems of those who provide housing for others. Unfortunately, although the Victorian Government is supportive of "parasitic" real estate activity (and even funds self promotion by the rich real estate agency industry) it seems zealous in its discrimination against those who actually generate bricks and mortar for real people to live in. The Property Owners Association was years ahead of the media in identifying the impending destruction of many Victorian businesses by escalating rates of annual land tax.

www.antibanks.com.au - this site really hit the banks hard but disappeared in a flash - probably under some heavy threats (- now who might have made threats?).

http://www.house4sale.com.au - this site is still there but it has changed its function. Gosee for a bit of entertainment - who knows - you might even need a solar doghouse like those now advertised on the site
